Measuring banner exposure
How to use this demo?
At the bottom right corner of the page, a rectangle is displayed, and continuously updated.
It illustrates the information that our script records.
The frequency of updates is higher than on a normal site, so that you can visualize the dynamic aspect of our measurement system.
Time measurement
Time spent is the most important indicator of web 2.0. It replaces page views, which became meaningless when pages are refreshed piece by piece (Ajax)
Time is only taken into account when the script detects mouse-keyboard activity on the page. Time count is stopped ofter a certain idle time. In this demonstration, time is "stopped" after 10 seconds of idle time. In a normal configuration, the idle time is more important: one minute for instance for a "text" site, without video.

Stop to move your mouse (and don't touch your keyboard) during 10 seconds. The windows in the lower right corner does not refresh anymore!
Banners visibility
This page shows two advertising banners, one horizontal and one vertical next to this text.
Alenty's measurement system measures the visible surface of each banner. When you scroll down the page, the visible surface of the banners is constantly updated.
In this example, the exposure duration is computed from the visible surface of each banner.
When a banner is not visible (surface = 0%), the exposure time is zero.
