Laurent Nicolas took part to the creation of NetValue, an Internet audience and usage measurement company, in 1998. NetValue's experienced rapid success and star-rocketing growth: the compny went public in January 2000, and acquired by Nielsen//NetRatings in August 2002. Laurent Nicolas was Director of Research and Development at Nielsen//NetRatings until March 2006. During height years of R&D at NetValue then NetRatings, Laurent has created the NetValue database and the methods of statistical analysis that are today used by Nielsen//NetRatings for their MegaPanel (300,000 households under measurement). He has also driven project of audience measurement and panel-based usage analysis. Laurent Nicolas holds an engineering degree from ENSTA and received an MBA from ESCP-EAP in 2005. |
Nicolas Thomas joined NetValue in 1999 to lead the development of the internet tracking software. He also took part into the development of NetValue's panel recrutment tool. Until March 2006, Nicolas's proven his expertise of TCP/IP protocols, and of C++ and Java development. He has also driven development projects with remote teams between France and Silicon Valley. He's set up the most advanced develoment methods: Extreme Programming, test-driven development, automatic compilations, etc. Nicolas Thomas holds a MS in Information and Man-machine communication. |
